SPPU ATKT Exams by Non Proctored Method- MSWA : Savitribai Phule Pune University planned to take the non final year ATKT exams by using the Proctored Method.
Maharashtra Students Welfare Association ( MSWA ) is demanding to roll back the decision and take the exams using the Non Proctored Method. MSWA wrote a letter to the Pune University Vice Chancellor to roll back the decision.
MSWA Secretary Harshal Agrawal wrote to the VC, “We know what kind of technical glitches have to be faced during the Final Year Exams. Although the contract of Non Final Year exams is given to the same company. Who will take guarantee that no technical glitches will occur in the exam.
Also the mock test conducted by the university in between 3rd Dec 2020 to 5th Dec 2020 in this many students are facing technical glitches but still no action is taken regarding that he added.
Students Issues Highlighted in this Letter
1. Login Issue.
2.Question Panel Not Visible in exam.
3.Automatic Shutdown of Camera.
4.Receiving more than one credential for the exam.
5.Multiple Subject exam on same day.
Whereas students are still worried due to the proctored method. The main reason behind this is that they are not familiar with this method and another reason is that the technical glitches which are continually faced by them.
While talking to a Pre Final Year Student He said, ” I Live in a remote area where network issues are a common problem. How could I appear for the exam in this situation? I am worried due to that and now the university is planning for the proctored method which requires high speed internet, he added.
Meanwhile Several other organizations are also demanding for the Non Proctored Method.
